Our Adoption Process
At Two-Way Home, we take joy in connecting special cats with wonderful families. After you apply, we need 24–72 hours to review everything carefully. We will then reach out to chat, start the matching process, and set up a meet-and-greet to ensure a long-lasting, happy bond for you and your new companion.

Review these essential guidelines to prepare for your new friend, noting that kittens need a compatible buddy at home or a pair adoption.
Indoors & Safety
To keep our rescues flourishing, all cats and kittens must live as indoor-only pets where they are protected from outdoor hazards. We require that declawing never be performed, as it is harmful to their well-being. Please ensure that all windows and balconies are fully secured to prevent accidents. Lastly, a happy home starts with a shared heart, so we ask that every member of your household is fully on board and ready to welcome your new feline companion.
Health & Habits
Adopting means promising a lifetime of well-being, which includes scheduled wellness exams, regular immunizations, and ongoing parasite prevention. It is important to be ready for the different medical or personality needs that come with aging. We are here to help you embrace every step of this journey together.
Lifetime Bond
Adopting a cat is a heartwarming, lifelong journey that typically lasts 15–20 years. We ask for a true commitment to your new companion for their entire life. However, we understand that unexpected changes can happen. If you can no longer provide care, the cat must be returned to Two-Way Home so we can support them in finding a new safe path forward.
Adoption Fees & Inclusions
Every adoption fee helps provide medical care and food for our rescues. If life changes, know we will always welcome our cats back into our care.
